The movie starts with Irrfan playing the role of Manikuttan, an honest cop with a wife and kid. Irrfan is completed engrossed in his family life when he gets promoted to the position of Superintendant in Crime Branch. Once, Irrfan visits the residence of Rani Laxmi, who is also his friend's mother, for which she serves him liquor. Manikuttan takes back some alcohol to his office but when he arrives at the office he commits an accident where he hits himself on head with his own weapon which results him in coma. The movie then shifts to his friend, inspector Sreekuttan (Shammi Thilakan), who is the team leader in Crime Branch and is shown in a rage when he is told that Manikuttan has passed away. The movie further shows his wife (Saiju Kurup) and daughter (Megha Thilakan) in shock who is oblivious of the truth. Manikuttan's brother Kirankutty (Prathap Pisharody) comes to visit but gets confused when the doctor asks him about the identity of Team leader. The movie shows how poor Kirankutty manages to get some clarity about what happened during his brother's hospitalization. The movie then continues with the investigation of Sreekuttan as he tries to catch the murderer of Manikuttan. As expected from a crime thriller, the movie has some surprises and twists at various places making you suspicious about whom to trust. In short, Navra Mazha Navsacha (2018) is a good movie which you can download without worrying much.
